The Met Office has issued a red weather warning for wind in Northern Ireland ahead of Storm Eowyn’s arrival.


Also, the N.I. Executive Office has ordered schools to close and recommended that people work from home where possible.


The Northern Ireland red warning will be in effect from 07:00 until 14:00 GMT on Friday.


Please be aware that some deliveries may be impacted by these developments, especially those scheduled earlier in the day.


There is a chance that later trade will be less impacted by the storm, as the warning is downgraded by 14:00 GMT, however The Northern Ireland Food-To-Go Association ad

vise individual businesses to carry out their own risk assessments with regard to Friday’s trading.


Northern Ireland Food-To-Go Association will provide further updates to the industry if there are developments to this situation.
